Escape from the Hidden Castle

Players each control a set of party guests who start spaced around a gallery on the board; initial placement of those guests is a key decision. A phantom begins in the cellar and advances by a special die: number faces move guests, a phantom face moves the ghost. When the phantom reaches the gallery, guests may slip into adjacent rooms (one guest per room) or be driven back onto the stairs and then into the cellar as they are caught. Caught guests earn fright points (some rooms modify those points), and play proceeds over several rounds. After the agreed number of rounds, the player with the fewest fright points wins.
