Root: The Homeland Expansion
Adds three new factions—the Lilypad Diaspora, the Twilight Council, and the Knaves of the Deepwood—plus two new mapboards (Marsh and Gorge). The Lilypad Diaspora settles and trains warriors while balancing security and the risk of escalating reprisals; their play centers on mobilization and managing shifting hostility. The Twilight Council pursues victory through assemblies and political influence, using edicts to alter incentives and manipulate opponents rather than relying solely on force. The Knaves of the Deepwood conduct raids, capture enemy warriors as hostages, and profit from ransom and pillage, favoring hit-and-run tactics and disruption.

Fiore2,0 What a bloated mess. Expansion doesn't mean "more complexity", especially when it adds nothing to the game but convoluted rules and mechanics that spoil the joy of playing because you have to spend minutes over a stupid checklist to understand what you have to do, how you have to do it, without understanding its function in the game. I think I have enough of these "expansions".
