Players lead Germanic tribes across a fixed map of southern Europe as the Roman Empire weakens. Each player commands two armies that begin in the northeast and move across the board, pillaging cities for resources and gold. Players use their wealth to establish new settlements and kingdoms while maneuvering around rival tribes and Roman legions. Dice, cards, plunder counters, and miniature figures support movement, conquest, and the race to build a lasting realm.
