De Ontembare Stad is a board game for 2–5 players. It plays in 75 minutes and is meant for ages 10 and up. Ludoya players call it best with 2.

Players lead rival orders of knighthood as a medieval town develops into an important citadel. They construct houses and other buildings, expand into new territories, and compete to establish the strongest influence and become king. Influence cards allow players to counter opponents, take control of their territories, or create disorder by burning an important building. A strategic variant adds a Grand Power to one of four development areas and rewards isolating territories.
