Dungeons & Dragons Basic Game

A streamlined introduction to tabletop roleplaying presented as a boardgame with cooperative dungeon-crawl play. Players take on roles of pre-generated heroes who explore modular maps, fight monsters, and complete scenarios using simplified versions of the core rules from an older edition of the system. The set includes a fixed selection of pre-painted miniatures representing heroes and foes, maps, cards, and scenario booklets. Combat and movement use a turn-based, tactical system with dice-based checks and experience progression, while a designated Game Master stages encounters and advances the storyline.
