Goblins, Inc.

Players act as goblin engineers competing to become the new Boss of a corporation that builds giant doomsday robots. Play runs over two rounds of pairings where each player temporarily teams with every other player to design, assemble and pilot a robot. Hidden agendas give each player secret objectives that can conflict with their temporary partner’s goals. Each round proceeds through phases of design, construction and combat: players draft and allocate robot parts, install weapons and systems, then resolve battles between teams’ robots to score damage and achievements. The highest-scoring goblin after both rounds wins the corporate promotion.
