Land 6

A solo game of conquest set in Land 6, where six dice represent your armies and six cubes represent the opposing force. The board is formed from six numbered tiles, each containing a city, sea, forest, and growing field. Players place and move their dice, spending points from armies to activate different actions while trying to prevent the opposing cubes from conquering the land. Victory comes from placing a die in the city on tile 6; the game is lost if all cities fall or all opposing armies are deployed. A game takes about 15 minutes.

Nice solitaire game by a wonderful author. PROS - Easy concept to grasp. - Player ability matters much more than it looks in your first games. Understanding how to manage the dice and timing is crucial to get a win. - Available as a free app! It's perfect for commuting. CONS - The game feels like a constant struggle, which may turn off some gamers. - Randomness can totally mess up some games, but it's not usual and the playtime is short anyway.
