Niemenczyn 1794

A board wargame recreates the 27 April 1794 skirmish near Vilnius, where Polish insurgents under Lieutenant Colonel Stefan Grabowski attacked a larger Russian force commanded by Lieutenant Colonel Lewiz. Players command Polish or Russian units, with Polish attacks facing musket and artillery fire as they attempt to reach the enemy camp. The game includes an alternative scenario with additional insurgent cavalry and uses mechanisms from other battles of the Kościuszko Uprising. Its small counter count makes it a suitable introduction to the system.
