Pacific Islands Campaign: Guam

A detailed operational and tactical simulation of the 1944 campaign to retake Guam from Japanese forces during the Second World War. Players command U.S. Marine, Army, and Navy units or Imperial Japanese forces at battalion, company, and platoon levels across four scenarios. Turns include amphibious landings, maneuver, and combat, with systems representing fire support, mobility and survivability, air defense, and command and control. Units can break down into smaller elements, while combat multipliers and Japanese nighttime Banzai attacks shape engagements. Victory is measured by the time and casualties required to complete the mission, with optional forces and artillery rules providing additional variation.
