Players portray a child character alongside an aspirational fantasy persona, the Inner Hero. A storybook and map provide a rules-light framework for roleplaying across two versions of each location: the familiar town and its imagined fantasy counterpart. Characters pursue personal Goals and collect Inventory items while exploring the map. After gaining three items, they can travel to a chosen location to attempt their Goal, which may involve activities such as winning a martial arts competition or helping clean up the environment. Failed dice rolls mark advancement toward new abilities, while the Inner Hero can boost the child character’s confidence and unlock additional options.
