Storming the Reich: D-Day to the Ruhr

This is a hex-and-counter operational wargame covering the Allied campaign in Northwest Europe from the D-Day landings through the Ruhr Pocket in April 1945. Players command division-level formations (with some brigades and battalions) across two maps, moving and fighting with monthly turns (and two-week turns during the summer) and terrain-scaled hexes. The Allied side manages armor, paratroops, naval gunfire, air superiority and logistics choices such as unit grounding and supply prioritization while attempting breakout and a timely Seine crossing. The German side juggles limited-quality reinforcements and scarce replacements, employing Panzer brigades and Tigers to blunt advances and exploit opportunities like counteroffensives. Three scenarios are included: a full 15-turn campaign, a short Normandy breakout learning scenario, and a Bulge-to-Victory one-map scenario.
