Suleiman the Magnificent

This historical wargame covers the Battle of Mohács on August 29, 1526, where the outnumbered army of the Kingdom of Hungary faced the Ottoman Empire in a conflict that led to the fall of independent Hungary. Players command formations representing roughly 750 soldiers each across a hex-based map of the flat, soft battlefield. Hungarian forces use trenches and artillery while attempting to withstand the larger Ottoman army. The game uses low-complexity rules for a fast-playing battle, with optional rules addressing the delayed or absent arrival of Hungarian allied contingents.
