TAILITS

An abstract strategy game for two players, based on the Japanese logic puzzle LITS and inspired by TAIJI. Players take turns placing L-, I-, T-, and S-shaped tetrominoes from a shared supply onto the board. Each new piece must share an edge with an existing piece, while congruent pieces may not touch edge-to-edge and no 2x2 area may be completely covered. Every tetromino contains two black and two white squares. When no further pieces can be placed, the player with the largest connected group of squares in their color wins, with horizontal, vertical, and diagonal connections counting. Ties go to the player who made the last move.
