The Russo-Japanese War: Dawn of the Rising Sun

This scenario book covers the major surface engagements of the Russo-Japanese War, including Port Arthur, the Yellow Sea, and Tsushima Strait, along with several smaller battles. It contains nineteen scenarios for the Dawn of the Battleship rules, with maps showing force dispositions, original after-action reports, and historical sidebars. Tactical turns represent three minutes, while intermediate turns cover 30 minutes of extended maneuvering. Gunfire depends on visibility, range, target size, ammunition expenditure, and the speeds of the firing and target ships. A separate annex booklet provides ship, gun, torpedo, and fire-control information needed to play the scenarios.
