Timeline

A “time-travelling” 4-dimensional chess variant played on a grid of 16 miniature chessboards. Each player controls two rooks and two bishops in warm or cool colors. Pieces leave paper trails of cardboard chits as they move through time; landing on a chit captures the piece at that point in its timeline and reverses its later actions. The game ends when all four opposing pieces have been captured.
