Volley & Bayonet

A grand-tactical miniatures game covering battles from the adoption of the socket bayonet around 1700 through the introduction of machine guns and magazine rifles around 1890. Players command armies from the wars of Marlborough, Frederick, Napoleon, the American Civil War, and the conflicts of Bismarck’s era. Each turn represents one hour of battlefield action and can be played in 15–30 minutes. The rules support miniatures from 5mm to 30mm, with scenarios covering major historical battles and campaigns, including Waterloo, the 1809 campaign, and the American Civil War.
