1990 · Economic
1835
An 18xx-style economic and railway game set on a German/Prussian map. Players invest in and trade shares of rail companies, place track tiles on an abstract hex grid, and operate corporations when holding majority control. The game introduces minor companies, layered stock offerings, and a mechanic allowing minor firms to merge into a larger Prussian railroad. Play proceeds until the bank is depleted; the player with the highest personal cash and stock value wins.
