18Scan
Set on the Scandinavian peninsula, players build and operate rail networks across Norway, Sweden, Denmark and Finland. The game blends core 18xx mechanics—track laying, tile placement, company stock, train purchases and operating rounds—into a compact, streamlined play experience. Players buy and manage companies (including minor companies and a merger railroad), lay track to connect cities and destinations, run trains to collect revenue, and trade shares to influence control and company value. A variety of train types and destination scoring create strategic choices while keeping turns and playtime relatively short compared with larger 18xx titles.
