1840: Vienna Tramways
Players operate holding companies that build and run Vienna tram lines, laying track and stations on the map and running diesel trams to collect income from the routes they serve. Revenue goes to the holding company, and regular company rounds require decisions on dividends versus reinvestment for better trains, additional stations, and track expansion. A stock round lets players buy shares in other companies and in the Stadtbahn, which provides special powers usable by tram lines. All trains are diesel and never fully retire; they remain usable but yield reduced income as they age, creating variable payouts over time.
