Briscola

1800 · Card Game

Briscola

A traditional Mediterranean point-trick game for 2–6 players that uses a 40-card deck (A, 3, K, Q, J and pip cards) with an exposed card defining the trump suit. Players are dealt three cards, play tricks without strict follow-suit requirements, and replenish their hands from the stock with the trick winner drawing first. Cards carry specific point values (Ace 11, 3 10, King 4, Queen 3, Jack 2, others 0) and the total points per deal equal 120; the player or partnership with the higher point total wins the hand. Variants include an open-card version and a 5‑player called-partner version with bidding and secret partnerships.

mindless little card game. Plays pretty well with 2. Not much going on but can be a fun thing to do while chatting or hanging out.
