Players act as fledgling proprietors building up a trading company in an industrial fantasy region. Each round, players place hidden dice to send workers to actions; dice are revealed and contested spaces go to the highest die value. Workers and dice are used to expand holdings: acquire land, construct and upgrade buildings, develop factories, and deploy airships to transport goods. Income and resources from these developments fund further growth, and careful planning of placements and upgrades determines the winner.
