A linen bag of metal coins and paper bills serves as the central shared resource for a set of small competitive games. Players receive equal starting money and repeatedly add exactly one currency item to the bag; making change is not permitted. Each round, players make a blind bid for the bag’s contents. All bids are then set aside and will become part of the bag for the next round, while the highest bidder immediately takes the current contents. Play proceeds with this cycle of adding one currency, blind bidding, and resolving the highest bid until a player reaches the target amount of yen and wins.
