Deep Sea Adventure

A small group of rival explorers shares a single rented submarine and one tank of air as they dive for undersea ruins. Players push their diver pieces farther out to collect treasure chips, but every action reduces the shared air supply and increases the risk of running out before returning. Play proceeds in turns over three rounds; on a turn a player declares whether to turn back, the air supply is reduced, the player rolls and moves, then may search — do nothing, pick up a ruins chip, or place one. Each player may return to the submarine once per round to score the chips they brought back; running out of air causes divers to drop their loot. The winner is the player with the most points from recovered ruins chips after three rounds.

#13 Funny, very 'difficult' press your luck game. Very few make it back to the submarine... Me parece un absoluto tedio. Estás en manos del dado y sientes continuamente que no tienes ninguna capacidad de agencia. Solo decides una vez si vuelves a la superficie y mientras tanto si dejas o no tesoros... Casi casi al nivel de la oca

Good push your luck game where risk can take you high with underwater treasures... or make you sink with them! Super portable and quite fun.

Rules questions

Answered from the rulebook by Ludoya's rules assistant.

Does carrying treasure reduce the air each turn?

Yes — on Step 1 you move the Air Marker toward 0 by the number of Treasure Chips you are carrying (treasure retrieved in previous rounds does not count). (page 1)

Can I turn back to the sub if I'm not carrying any treasure?

No — you may only turn back for the Submarine if you are carrying treasure, and you can change direction only once each dive. (page 1)

What happens if I forget to declare I'm turning back and roll the dice?

If you roll the dice without declaring a direction, you must dive deeper (you cannot turn back that turn). (page 1)

How do my dice rolls interact with the treasure I'm carrying?

You roll both dice and then subtract the number of Treasure Chips you're carrying from the total before moving; you may be unable to move, and you jump over any Undersea Chip currently being explored by another Diver. (page 1)

If the air reaches zero on my turn, is the dive over immediately?

If the air falls to 0 or below on Step 1, your turn becomes the last turn of the dive, but you still continue and finish your turn; the dive then ends when the air runs out. (page 1)

If I don't make it back to the sub, do I lose my treasure forever?

Players who don't make it back drop their treasure to the bottom of the sea and return to the Sub; those dropped Chips are stacked at the end of the line and act as a single Treasure Chip in subsequent dives (counted together for movement and air). (page 1)
