Players command French, English, or Spanish naval fleets navigating a skybound archipelago of trade routes. They maneuver ships using changing stellar winds, assign captains with distinct skills, recruit crews, and gather resources to open safe courses to their territories. The objective is to secure five planets (nodes) to establish national hegemony. The game offers both a competitive duel mode and a cooperative team mode, and includes tactical ship-to-ship combat when fleets clash.
