Fafnir
Players compete to collect newly laid gems by secretly discarding cards in blind bids; the player who discards the most cards in a round takes the two newest gems. Each round a pair of gems is revealed, but players may not discard cards matching the colors just revealed. Rounds end after a set number of discards and players score based on the stones they collected. Gold stones are worth a fixed 1 point each; among the colored gems the most-common color scores 3 points apiece, the second-most scores 2 points, and all remaining colors score -1 point each. Players manage risk and hand composition to maximize scoring sets over multiple rounds.
