Fantasy Realms
Players build a fantasy realm by drafting and combining cards into a personal tableau that scores as a single hand. Each turn a player draws then discards, choosing either the top of the deck or the discard pile to shape synergies between military units, magical locations, characters and artifacts. Cards interact with each other to create combos that add or subtract points; the game ends when the discard pile reaches ten cards and players total the values of their realms to determine a winner.

Rules questions
Answered from the rulebook by Ludoya's rules assistant.
If a card is "blanked", do I still get its base strength?
No — a blanked card has no suit, no bonuses or penalties, and no base strength, so you ignore it when scoring (see pages 2 and 3).
How do WITH and FOR EACH bonuses work — do they stack if I have multiple matching cards?
WITH bonuses apply only once even if you have multiple matching cards, while FOR EACH bonuses are applied once for every matching card you hold (page 3).
How do the Shapeshifter and Mirage wild cards work — do they have to copy a card in my hand?
They may take the name and suit of any other card in the game (not necessarily one in your hand); their base strength remains 0, and you may also choose not to use the wild ability (page 8).
What do I do when cards contradict each other — is there a resolution order?
Resolve contradictions in this order: decide Doppelgänger, then Mirage, then Shapeshifter; then apply the Book of Changes; then perform any CLEARS; finally apply penalties, starting with cards not blanked by others (page 7).
How does the Book of Changes work — when should I use it and what does it change?
The Book of Changes changes the suit of one other card and must be applied before any bonuses or penalties are evaluated; it does not change the card's name, base strength, or its named bonuses/penalties (pages 5 and 7).
When does the game end and how many cards does each player keep?
In the standard game each player is dealt seven cards and play continues (draw/discard) until there are ten cards in the discard area, at which point players score the seven cards in their hands (page 2).
