Set along the medieval Westphalian Hellweg trade route between Duisburg and Paderborn, the game focuses on commerce in salt, beer, and ironware. Players buy goods at favorable prices and sell them for profit, balancing the benefits of waiting against limited supplies. Coaches establish trade routes that connect distant towns and expand opportunities. After twelve rounds, the player with the most money wins. An included module, Warehouse and Privileges, adds further rules for experienced players.
