La Strada

2004 · Transportation

La Strada

Build roads across a variable hex-tile landscape to connect cities, villages, and other settlements. Each turn provides gold for constructing routes over flatland, forests, and hills, with roads required to reach a settlement and avoid intersecting other routes. Settlements award fewer points as more players connect to them, creating competition for valuable destinations and forcing choices between securing a location and expanding elsewhere. The game ends when a player can no longer build or has no trade markers left, and the player with the most victory points wins.

Not interesting enough to keep it. I playtested a 4 player game and all ended with 20-23 points. It's just boring connecting cities with other cities.

It might be a good game, but it's boring. Simply place stuff in the best areas.
