Through the Desert
Players place colored caravan pieces to snake routes across a shared desert map, trying to reach oases and claim territory. Each turn adds to a caravan network, with scoring for length, connections to oases, and control of contested regions. Tactical placement and route blocking are central: players expand carefully to maximize points while impeding opponents and securing water sources. The game supports two to five players and emphasizes spatial planning and area control similar to abstract connection games.

The only thing I don't like in this game is that playing last, it is highly possible your opponents have an extra turn that results in victory

En version allemande, couleurs un poil fades mais ça passe ! Un des jeux qui nous ont vraiment fait plonger dans le JdS il y a une vingtaine d'années ! Il a un peu vieilli car un poil longuet pour les standards et joueurs actuels, ceci dit entre anciens joueurs de "Durch" on aime toujours autant !
