Explore an old-growth forest to forage mushrooms, using a shared tableau of eight face-up cards that represents the woods. Players draft cards into their hands, manage hand size, and use special items like baskets, pans, butter, and cider to cook or sell mushrooms for points. Matching sets of three or more mushrooms are cooked for scoring, with larger sets enhanced by butter or cider; selling pairs or more grants foraging sticks that expand and alter the tableau. A small Night Deck offers rarer finds, poisonous mushrooms create hazards, and a decay pile removes one forest card each turn, simulating a shifting walk through the woods.
