2018 · Abstract Strategy
Ringo
Players compete on an unbounded square grid, aiming to make a straight line of four markers. The game begins with eight rings—four of each color—each holding a matching disc. On a turn, a player places their color disc into any one of their rings, then slides that ring to an empty orthogonally adjacent cell that is next to any other ring. Victory occurs when a player first forms four discs or four rings in an orthogonal or diagonal row. The game combines placement and limited ring movement on an expanding grid.
