River Dragons

2000 · Abstract Strategy

River Dragons

Players attempt to get their pawn across a river by building pathways of foundation stones and plank pieces while other players do the same nearby. Each round players secretly choose a sequence of five actions from a shared pool and reveal them to be resolved one card at a time. Actions let players place foundations, lay or remove planks, move their pawn, or cancel an opponent’s action, producing tense, chaotic interaction as plans collide. The board offers two setups: one with preset rock piles for placing stones and one open river where stones may be placed anywhere.

Roberto Fraga game of abstract strategy. It can be funny but you need a good number of players. You need good space intelligence, and I'm not strong at that.

1 partida. Está bien, pero parece que no tenga mucha rejugabilidad, tiene un aire un tanto infantil y es muy caro para lo que es el juego en sí.
