2023 · City Building
Rolling Heights
Players act as general contractors in a rapidly expanding 1920s city, recruiting and rolling meeples as worker dice. Meeples rolled standing provide actions and building materials; face-down meeples provide nothing. Players can push their luck with additional rolls to try to gain more resources but risk losing materials needed for construction. Buildings are completed to gain prestige and recruit additional workers, enabling construction of larger projects over the course of the game. Play focuses on dice management, risk assessment, and sequencing constructions to develop a competitive skyline.
