Tides of Time
Players guide an ancient civilization across three ages, drafting cards to erect monuments, fortify borders, and gather knowledge. Each card belongs to one of five suits and carries a scoring objective; players draft from hands over three rounds and score each round based on collected suits and card objectives. After each round players choose one card to keep as a relic that provides benefits in later rounds. The game resolves after three rounds, and the highest total score determines which civilization left the greatest legacy.

Simple 2p Draft Game. I expected more of this one. Little depth. Played once.
Copy/paste of our comments first posted on our blog (public Instagram 100% boadgames, link below for many detailed pictures ) FRENCH Un jeu exclusivement pour 2 ?, jouable en 10 min environ. On enchaîne aisément 2/3 parties, les retournements de situations étant fréquents en manche 3. Ne vous y trompez pas avec ce titre : le jeu est en français. Le seul lien entre thème et mécanisme est qu’en guise de reliques on conserve une carte devant soi avant le tour suivant, le jeu se jouant en 3 tours. Surpris de voir que même mon épouse pas fan du thème y joue très volontiers ! Mécanisme simple : du draft à 2, combo/majorités, un brin d’opportunisme, de mémoire et de chance. Simple, vite expliqué, jamais gagné à l’avance, cela tourne vite et bien. Après une dizaine de parties sur trois jours on commence à sentir comment bien pourrir l’autre et inversement ce qui en fait un jeu pour joueur occasionnels car à trop se neutraliser, le facteur « main de départ » devient important. Bilan à 6.5/10, pas indispensable donc mais pas mal du tout, le fait que tout le monde soit ok pour enchaîner deux parties est un bon indicateur ! ENGLISH Rating time for this game for 2. As i wrote in previous post, not groundbreaking but we can chain plays. My wife likes the mecanism : draft, opportunity, memory (a bit) and a bit of luck. With 18 oversized cards, 3 short rounds, make the best combos and try to ruin your opponent’s ones. A quick and interesting game to play within 10 min. Not a top level game but it plays really well at coffee time ? We rate it 65%, miss some depth to reach higher range. Try it you may be positively surprised ! SPANISH Tides of Time es un juego sencillo en cual vas andas mirando qué tiene tu oponente para no regalarle una mayoría o permitirle completar unas cartas que le ayudan mucho. Draft, oportunidad, memoria (un poco) y azar (inicio de rondas). Estas 18 tarjetas de gran tamaño permiten partidas de 10 min una vez entendido el juego. No es un juego de alto nivel pero bueno, juega con placer después del almuerzo en el café ! Todo en uno ponemos uno 65%, le falta mas profundidad para llegar a rango más alto.
