Tyros

2002 · Civilization

Tyros

In an ancient Mediterranean setting, players expand four empires across a map divided into rectangular areas. Each turn, location tiles are added next to existing empire counters, with the new area’s allegiance determined by adjacent empires. Players build galleys to control areas, travel across the map, and establish cities, paying for these actions with cards dealt each round. Cards can be kept or traded. At the end of the game, players score for controlled areas, with points determined by whether a galley or city controls them and by the size of the associated empire.
