Concordia
Players lead rival merchant dynasties across the Roman world, sending colonists to settle cities and build a trade network that produces bricks, food, tools, wine and cloth. Actions are chosen from a personal card tableau that expands over the game; cards both enable actions and score victory points at the end. Players buy new cards, deliver goods along sea and land routes, construct houses, and compete for favor from ancient gods who provide endgame scoring categories. Play emphasizes economic planning, route optimization, and anticipating opponents as the modular map and changing card market create varied strategic challenges.

Garfield5.0 It can be fast, but also very slow. I usually need not more than 1min. Others needed 3-5min for one turn! You have no clue if you're good or bad, till the end. And then surprise, I won. The multipliers are too strong I think. The god theme is not very present and I'm not feeling like I'm conquering. It ended with no one producing in regions because there were also others present. And don't play it with 5 players. I would recommend 3. My kids, my friends, and even my mom too. And they all enjoyed the gameplay. Big plus for that!!! Extra maps is a nice idea. The amphoras colour almost the same as the bricks colour. I had to repaint that markers. :/  Honestly, I dont like the look, I think this game is... not nice at all. But great, so no problem, just saying.
Mohasz7.0 I've been holding off, because I'm not sure how it is with 2 players. Looks like an easy to learn game with a lot of depth. Our first play was alright (2p). I can imagine this would be considerably better at 3 or 4 players. Also, we didn't really know what we were doing, so I hope we can give it another go later. I must say I hate the long box size, though... With the digital version coming later this year, I feel like I really don't need this game in my collection.
Rules questions
Answered from the rulebook by Ludoya's rules assistant.
If I play Tribune and take back more than 3 cards, do I get money for the extra cards?
Yes — when you take back more than 3 cards (counting the Tribune) you receive 1 sestertius per card past the 3rd from the bank (example given); you also may optionally buy a new colonist for 1 food + 1 tool and place it in Roma (p.1).
How do colonists move — can sea and land colonists use the same routes, and can they move through occupied lines?
Land colonists move only along brown lines and sea colonists only along blue lines; a colonist’s first step is from its city onto an adjacent line and further steps go through a city to the next line, you may move through occupied lines (they count toward movement) but a colonist may not end its movement on a line already occupied (p.2).
When I build with the Architect, what goods and coin costs do I pay and does the coin cost increase if the city already has houses?
Goods cost depends on the city type (e.g., 1 food in a brick city, otherwise 1 brick plus the city good) and coin cost depends on city type (1–5 sestertii); the coin cost is multiplied by the total number of houses that will be in the city after building (goods cost stays the same), you may not build more than one of your houses in a city and never in Roma (p.2).
What exactly does Prefect do — produce goods or collect cash — and how does the Praefectus Magnus change that?
Prefect lets you either (a) choose an active province with its goods-side bonus to flip it and take 1 unit of that good while all houses in the province produce one unit each, or (b) take the cash bonus equal to the number of visible coin-side bonus markers (then flip them back); if you currently hold the Praefectus Magnus and use Prefect to produce you receive double the province bonus (2 units) and must then pass the Praefectus to the right, but Praefectus does not double the cash option (p.2, p.4).
Where can I place new colonists and what do they cost; is there a limit to how many I can have?
You may place new colonists by paying 1 food and 1 tool each into Roma or into any city where you own a house (you may place multiple colonists in the same city), or instead take money (5 sestertii +1 per your colonist on the board); the total colonists per player is restricted to 6 (p.2, p.4).
How does the storehouse limit goods — can I discard goods to make room or choose what to keep if I receive more than fits?
Each player has 12 storage spaces (4 initially occupied by colonists); you cannot discard goods to make room, and if you receive more goods than empty spaces you choose which specific units to take but you may not leave any available storage spaces empty (p.4).
