Players take command of the sworn defenders stationed at the Wall, leading hardened recruits and veteran brothers against threats from beyond the ice. The box provides ready-to-play plastic miniatures including basic sworn brothers, veteran troops, ranger trackers, and key characters with a direwolf companion, along with unit attachments. It also includes dice, tokens, small terrain pieces, and accessories needed to assemble and run battlefield skirmishes. Gameplay focuses on squad-level tactics: deploying units, activating models, managing attachments and character abilities, and resolving attacks and morale as forces contest objectives on a modular tabletop.
