A Touch of Evil: Dark Gothic – Colonial Horror

Players take the roles of distinct monster-hunting heroes in a colonial, gothic setting, recruiting allies and equipping gear as they pursue supernatural threats. Gameplay uses deck-building: players improve their personal decks to gain new abilities, resources, and cards that aid in combat and exploration while a sequence of increasingly difficult villains appears on the map. Heroes generally cooperate to prevent the spreading shadow and stop villains from overrunning the land, but play also tracks individual scores so only one player becomes the top monster hunter at the end of the campaign. Can be integrated with the base deck-building game for added variety or played standalone for 2–3 players.
