Cataphract

A historical wargame that recreates major battles and campaigns of the early Byzantine era under Justinian, reflecting the evolution of late Roman and Early Medieval warfare. Players command land and naval forces, manage combined operations, and resolve engagements using rules for heavy cavalry, infantry, missile fire, and command leadership. Includes multiple standalone battle scenarios, a campaign-level game covering the reconquest effort, a bonus Viking raid scenario, and additional leader and scenario material that expands play across related historical actions.
