Dead of Winter: Warring Colonies

Expands the base game with new survivors, items, crossroads, and crisis cards and introduces two optional modules. In the warring colonies variant, two player teams control separate colonies and compete for territory and supplies while managing shared crises. Combat uses tactics cards, bullet tokens, and d12 combat dice; simultaneous turns and a sand timer speed play and resolve conflicts between colonies. The lone wolf module lets a single player act as an independent operative with a hidden den, completing missions that influence both teams. Many new cards are compatible with the base game, but both the original set and the Long Night expansion are required to use the warring colonies or lone wolf modules.
