Death Valley: Battles for the Shenandoah

A collection of eight linked regimental-level battle games that covers Shenandoah Valley operations in 1862 and 1864, offering multiple scenarios from division actions on half‑maps to two‑map army fights. Players command period brigades and artillery using the GBACW chit‑pull activation system, resolving hourly turns with movement, combat, morale and disorder mechanics that reflect changes in cavalry, infantry and artillery organization between 1862 and 1864. Scenarios model specific historical engagements from Jackson’s 1862 Valley Campaign and the 1864 Valley campaigns. Components include numerous counters, multiple double‑sided maps, series rules with scenario battle booklets, activation charts, player aids, and terrain and disorder charts.
