Gandhi: The Decolonization of British India, 1917 – 1947

A political-military simulation of India’s final decades under the British Raj, played with the COIN series’ asymmetric, card-driven system. One to four players control different factions—including a new Nonviolent faction with persistent activists and special protest actions—and maneuver units, play event cards, conduct operations, and manage tracks for British Rule and Hindu-Muslim Unity. Players stage civil disobedience, boycotts, protests, insurgent violence, arrests, and diplomatic efforts while vying to shift popular support, influence princely states, and change colonial policy. Scenarios cover short and medium campaigns and the game supports solitaire through four-player play.
