Gettysburg

Gettysburg is a board game for 2 players. It plays in 180 minutes and is meant for ages 13 and up.

A two-player operational wargame simulating the three days of a Civil War battle, with one player commanding the Confederate forces and the other the Union. Play proceeds in four periods per day; players allocate eight numbered order blocks to map areas to generate a limited number of order discs that activate units in the same or adjacent areas. Assaults use morale checks with separate attacker and defender tables; defenders are likelier to be forced back than eliminated but can counterattack. Victory is achieved by seizing specific key locations by set times or holding designated objectives at the battle’s end.
