Hoplomachus: Blade's Edge

A hex-based tactical combat game set in an ancient gladiatorial arena. One to four players lead fighters from lost civilizations, deploying gladiators, using tactic chips, controlling crowd-favor spaces, and battling opponents and beasts. The main objective is to eliminate the opposing champion, who begins inactive and defenseless until the crowd supports them. This set adds a champion and equipment for each of five cities, allowing players to choose their champion and equipment before each battle. Combat combines unit management, positioning, team play, and progression through crowd favor.
