Monolith Arena

Players command rival factions on a hexagonal battlefield by placing unit and order tiles to create offensive and defensive formations. Each faction has distinct units and abilities; tiles trigger effects when the board fills or when a player issues a battle order. Each player fields a three-level monolith: the top holds the visible faction banner, while the lower levels conceal two chosen battlefield tokens that influence play as the game progresses. The monoliths and tile placement together balance tactical positioning with pregame strategic choices, while alternating turns and a shared tile pool shape combat resolution.
