Set in mid-19th century Mexico, players develop a national rail network to move goods toward the United States. Players take on roles as railroad barons, play operation cards, lay track, and run trains to connect cities and transport freight for income and victory points. The box contains a Mexico mapboard, Railroad Baron and Railroad Operation cards specific to the map, a scoreboard, and rules. It functions as a self-contained map expansion compatible with the base system, using the same track‑building, card‑driven operations, and scoring mechanics as the core game.
