This is a very entertaining dice-based filler game, that actually gives you interesting choices to make on your turns. The general idea is that the rebel player(s) need to destroy the shield generator and then blow up the death star. The imperial player(s) need to destroy all the rebel ships. Meanwhile, Vader and Luke are over there in the corner having a duel, and if one of them wins that duel it means the winning side gets a major advantage in the game. Each player gets a hand of 6 cards, then chooses three and puts them in a pile. The the cards are resolved one player at a time from the top to the bottom. Each card has two or three action options on it, and there are ways to score bonus cards to the bottom of your stack netting you free actions. The game is very tight, and although success and failure ultimately come down to die luck, the game feels very satisfying.
