Root: The Roleplaying Game

Players take on the roles of vagabonds traveling through the Woodland as rival factions wage war across its clearings. They accept jobs from local inhabitants and opposing powers, dealing with bandits, dangerous creatures, and political schemes. Actions can alter the balance of power and affect relationships with the factions. Prestige and notoriety track how each faction views the vagabonds as they adventure from clearing to clearing.
