Space Cadets: Away Missions

Players take on the roles of hardy frontier spacemen conducting boarding missions against an alien invasion during a pulp-era Golden Age of space exploration. Each scenario uses modular hex maps representing UFOs and starcraft; players spend limited action points to move, fire weapons, use exotic equipment, and perform special team abilities while aliens follow simple scripted movement and attack protocols. The game is cooperative and scenario-based, with a linked campaign of missions that changes alien types and ship layouts, rewarding tactical planning, resource management, and coordinated play.
