Sylvion: Below Ground

Sylvion: Below Ground is a board game for 1–2 players. It plays in 15 minutes and is meant for ages 10 and up. Ludoya players call it best with 1.

A 16-card expansion that adds hidden terrain effects to the battlefield. Shuffle the cards and place them face down in the 4×4 grid. When placing a tree or fountain on a terrain space, pay the usual cost then flip the terrain card and resolve its effect: unoccupied terrain is removed and the piece is placed there; an owl terrain grants placement and a bonus draw of two defender cards; a swallower terrain removes itself and the newly placed piece with no gain (if the removed piece is a fountain, draw one defender card as if it were defeated).
